Hello Neil, >I bought some of the heavy PR paper and was printing last night >in my 2200. The first few prints went fine and then once again >(second time using 308) the printer refused to draw the paper >down to print. Anyone had this with the heavy PR? I only have >this problem with the heavy thick PR. I had the same problem. It's as if the printer decides "I've had enough of this abuse" and refuses to grab the paper any more. It really scared me, I thought I'd broken it. I'm actually relieved to hear your report. I'm guessing it must be a built in protection of some sort. Now I use the rear feeder for the heavy paper. At first it was a bit of a hassle but I quickly worked out a technique. It has to be done one at a time, but I was already doing that with the heavy cotton papers even with the top loader (because I brush and Dust-Off each sheet). So it's working very well and I'm more at ease about not abusing the paper feed mechanism. Regards, Clayton Info on black and white digital printing at http://www.cjcom.net/digiprnarts.htm
