I am shooting subjects with lots of texture and tone,
which the 1Ds handles very well. My subjects are
mostly the same (landscapes, architecture), but since
I'm working with a smaller and lighter camera (vs. the
Pentax 67 before), I also shoot more spontaneous stuff
hand-held, as well.
