No don't do that, it will likely cause other problems.  Have a 2"
piece of tape ready and tape tightly over the hole immediately.  also
have a piece of plastic or paper covering the work surface, as there
may be a drop or two will spill during the taping.  Also be prepared
to wash your hands immediately because some will get on your fingers
and if it dries it's hard to remove.
