Hi: Haven't been able to do much in the last year because of a terminal illness in the family. During the time I let a CFS go "belly up", so now I'm going to try MIS GP and U2 inks. For those of us who would still like to get some mileage out of the 1280 this sound like a very good option. While many say that they don't see the difference on the 1280 between the 2880 and 1440 settings, I seem to. Of course on heavier media like Somerset photo enhance the texture seems to hide the difference. If this doesn't work for me than I guess I'm gonna have to fork out for the 4000 (although this will delay my D70 purchase:). I was quite please with the pigment prints I got before. It took a little work to get the work flow right, but the prints were recieved well by both people who bought them and relatives who begged them:) Will let you all know how these new inks work. Anyone using them on this list? Regards, Jeff Lee
