Hi Mark- I don't believe I said that you did have a problem with noise. I also did not mean to single out the Fuji's in this regard- the problem of noise can be seen with any CCD scanner. It's not a matter of scanner settings, but how the scanner responds to light. Again, as I pointed out in my original post, if this is not apparent in your prints, then it's not an issue for you. I certainly don't believe that everyone has to use the same processes to get excellent results!
