I wholeheartedly agree with Jules.
Doug's MF Film Holder works very well with the Epson flatbeds.
It's much better than the stock holders, and worth every penny of the 
$25.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
