Daniel, what is your paper setting? The only paper I can choose 2880 from (on the 1290) is "photo paper" - however as I wrote in my last message, "photo quality ink jet paper" gives me better results. As far as I can tell the shadows are now perfectly smooth. It's awfully slow though...
