Stephen & Steve, Have you looked at the partition on which you spool your printer files? It needs a large space that is unfragmented. By default it uses the System partition, but you can move it to another. Does your System partition have plenty of free space, and is it unfragmented? After a new installation you tend to have files all over the place on the System disk - it needs defragging to tidy it up. This has been the cause of some other similar problems.
