Been there (frustrated) on this same issue.

I couldn't agree more that BO printing on the C82 and C84 is 
terrible.

I had thought that my C82 was defective, so I picked up a C84.

But the C84 is only slightly better at BO printing (try the Matte 
Heavyweight setting on Matte paper).

Both these of these machines print way too fast in BO mode and 
microband like crazy.

But with the MIS ink in the C82 its a whole different beast.
I'm very impressed.

I still like BO prints from my 820, but prints from the C82 with the 
MIS inks are a lot smoother.

I'll be ordering a set for the C84 to try also.

Someday I'll get more expensive hardware, and be even more impressed.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
