Hi Dave,

The numbers are based on evenly spacing the Luminance  (Lab values).
The easiest way to just look at the table is to notice the difference
between 1.62 and 1.60 and use the same from 1.60 to 1.58.
You don't need to worry about 3 significant digits -- most densitometers
only do 2 decimal places.
