I should follow up on my plight.......I never got a good nozzle check, and the stripes at either end never went away. MIS promptly sent me out an entire new set. I replaced only the Eboni cartridge (the one I thought was the problem, especially after looking at the nozze checks, and it is has been smooth sailing ever since. I'm going to pay MIS for the second set, minus the replacement Eboni.
