Just take a hacksaw to your existing bracket until it fits. It sounds like you may have gotten a 1280 bracket. All you need is a small piece to hold the tubes up out of the way. You can ask MIS but it's easier to cut yours down to fit rather than sending it back for a replacement. look at the photos on the MIS website. If your's doesn't look like the one for the 890 shown there, just cut it down till it does.
