I do suspect it has something to do with the ink cart itself. Seems once I get it going it runs ok. I noticed that the ink cart mis supplies is completely different from epsons carts on the inside. Far less complex. Also mis has the funky little vent apparently missing on the epson cart. I doubt epson would have put all the complexity into their carts if not serving an important purpose. I have numerous empty ink carts. Did you just buy CF ink and start filling the carts yourself? How do you know when the cart is full so that when the chip is reset the chip will not let the cart run dry? I am definitely interested in knowing how the fill process is done. Thanks, Charlie
