Hello Richard, I own a pro B&W lab. I do a lot of tech pan film. It depends which developer is bieng used. Technidol is recomended. For less contrast I dilute the technidol to 1-1 and rate the film at 12. Most labs dont do a god job with tech pan because they dont use the right developer. also tech pan works best with a 5 minute pre soak before the developer is added.
