Norm, side by side when I try both Epson MK and Eboni on all matte papers the Epson MK is significantly warmer, so much so on some it's almost like sepia. Now, this is using my 2200 and Epson's pigment ink. Could you tell us which printer (perhaps you're comparing Eboni with Epson dye black?) and which papers you are using? I've done some comparisons (unscientific to be sure) and find that the Epson standard black gives me a blacker black and a cooler print than the Eboni. I also printed BOnly with the Piezography Portfolio black, and found it a bit cooler than the Eboni, but not what I'm after. The Epson seems to work best for what I want.
