Digital BW, The Print

I have written about this previously; I must be doing something wrong.
I've followed Paul Roark's very carefully but keep getting only sepia
toned prints. I'm using Paint Shop with a 1280 printer. Without the
curve corrections I get a very good black print. I wonder if anyone
else has had this problem - and if it was corrected, I'd appreciate
knowing how.
