Have a 2" piece of tape ready, and a plastic bag (like a zip-loc
sandwich bag), and some paper for a work surface because a drop or two
may spill.  

1) Remove cart and put the tape over the bottom hole and up the
sides. 

2) Put replacement cart in the printer immediately (reduce possibility
of air getting into the head)

3) Store the cart in the bag (I like to squeeze all the air out of the
bag before sealing it).  

Also be prepared to wash your hands right away because a bit of ink
will get on your fingers and is hard to get off if it dries.
