Hello Alan, >I just finished testing Entrada Bright White and Natural against several of my regular papers. The BW prints way to cold (blue) for my taste; even at the warmest tint setting in IP. The Natural, however, has now become my favorite paper. Thanks for the report. Makes we want to try some of the Natural. Have you also tried Condor BW, and if so how did it compare to Entrada BW? I had one report saying the Entrada was similar cool but poorer Dmax. >I have found that prints from my Epson 2200, UC inks, IP driver, on Entrada Natural look very close in "color" to the older silver papers that I printed on years ago in the darkroom--Varilour Black, Ilfomar, Ilfobrom, original Zone VI Brilliant, etc. I never liked the bluish tone of, say, Kodak Elite. Different strokes...I guess. Same here. In my early days I used Oriental Seagull but grew to prefer slightly warmer. My favorite was Ilford MGII FB. I still have three 250-sheet boxes in my freezer (anybody want to buy it?<g>. Today I mostly print on Merlin, as it is just slightly warm, but for certain prints either Condor for cold or PR for moderate warm. For very warm I really like the new H. White Velvet. It is very much like Velvet Fine Art in color but without the texture, which I prefer. It's a nice smooth surface.
