I'm using a compact fluorescent True-Light 15 W lamp in an 
Artemide Tolomeo Classic table model. EC made it says. The 
ventilation hole in the cap is blocked with adhesive aluminium 
foil from the inside by me so I don't have to look straight into 
the lamp itself. Enough ventilation for a compact fluorescent 
remains.
