After letting my new C84 sit for a week with EZ inks, I had nozzle(s) clog when I went to use it today. I ran 4 nozzle checks and 3 cleaning cycles. It got worse with each successive cycle. And if the ink monitor is to be believed, my black ink cart went from 3/4 full to 1/4 full. I suspect that's not accurate, I don't see a puddle of ink inside the printer. I searched the archives and found this post (below). Since it is for a different printer and inks, I don't know if it applies to the C84. I do have the original, unopened Epson carts. I was planning to sell them on eBay, but maybe I better keep them for this? Should I follow the procedure below for my C84? Advice anyone? Also, where are the PURGE4 or PURGE6 image files found? -Don M --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Bob Michaels" <bob@b...> wrote: > install a brand new set of Aftermarket cartridges or a set of Epson > carts that still have life (ink) in them.
