I've had a strange phenomenon occur when trying to get QTR up and going for my 2200. It just won't go... but when I use my 860 it prints like a champion. That has occurred with Fedora, Mandrake 10 and SuSe 9.2 When I revert back to RedHat 9 it works. My preference would be to use a distro that is supported rather than the now defunct RedHat 9. The problem seems like it may be in the filter which quad.convs will fix with RH 9.0 but it doesn't seem to do it with the newer distros. Is anyone successfully using a 2200, QTR and one of the newer distros of Linux? My Linux box is a MSI Nvidia motherboard, Athlon processor and 1.5 gig of dram. My old Mac Beige desktop G3 works well, if slow, but is pretty much at the end of its life cycle. Linux and my 860 are a dynamite combination and blazingly fast. BUT I do need to get the 2200 up.
