No No Ellis , you have the right printer . Just feed it through the back. Belive me Epson listened to us years ago when we screamed that the 1270-1280 type printers made our life hell because of the thickness issue. They have SOLVED this one. You can even print on foam cor and very thick non-coated media on the 2200. Read your manual. You have the perfect printer for up to 13x19. --- BRIAN ELLIS <campy72@...> wrote: > Look in the 2200 instruction manual, page 17, it > tells you how to manually feed thick paper. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: stridulent<mailto:aethereal@...> > To: > DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com<mailto:DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > > Sent: Wednesday, July 14, 2004 10:24 PM > Subject: [Digital BW] epson 2200 > > > i purchased an epson 2200 and have been trying to > print with > hahnemuhle photo rag...is it too thick for the > printer? is there > another similar paper that is not too thick for > use in the 2200? > > > > > Please visit the Group Homepage to check the > Files, and other resources as they are often being > updated. > > > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint> > > If you wish to receive no emails or just a daily > digest, or you wish to unsubscribe, please edit your > Membership preferences by visiting this same page. > > Please follow these basic guidelines: > - As threads develop, trim off excess portions of > earlier messages to keep them short. > - Good manners are required at all time.
