i have a question regarding the set up of contrast and brightnes...

on the website (mis) it says the following

In Paul's latest comments on the C84 he recommends using the following... 

For Matte Papers - Use Best Photo, Color Controls On, Plain Paper,
Contrast -15, Brightness -5

For Epson Glossy Photo Paper - Use Best Photo, Color Controls On,
Glossy Photo Paper, Contrast -10


are we taking +15 contrast or -15 (minus) and the same question about brightness
