scanners for B&W (digest #2388)
I've tried making contact sheets on my flatbed Epson 2450 - and they're
terrible. If you don't develop yourself, it's worth a few bucks to have the lab
make the contact sheet. I am very satisfied with the Minolta 5400 for film and
slides - although it's slow. My best results with B&W film have been with the
chromogenics - Kodak T400CN or Ilford Super XP2. Good luck,
Arlene
