Really???? I just tried classic pearl, and there is no bronzing at all. None in any lighting. However....The ink just sits on the top and can be smeared off in a gooey mess. I am heartened by your results with smooth pearl though. Now, in the direct sun it's not too bad (smooth pearl), but in window light or incandecent, it's really bad, especially in the upper midtones. Also, the shadows are a totally diferent grain pattern with the neutral curve than the carbon curve. Grainy shadows, nice highlights. Weird.
