Hello. First, thanks to the people who took and interest in my UT2/glossy episode. I have gotten my Ut2 ink dialed in, which took only about 20 strips (six or seven per page) and maybe 12 4x6 prints. Now I have 5 shades from cool to warm that all look great, on all my papers. (with spay hopefully fixing the bronzing on pearl yada yada...) I have made some really nice prints on Museo paper by Crane. (at least to my untrained eye)...On this group, this paper is never mentioned. My medium warm UT2 setting looks pretty awesome on this to me. I finally have a print that has the right tone I want and the front to back 3D depth that I was looking for. My question is, how does this paper compare to lets say Velvet fine art? I have some Permajet Museum parchment which I liked the best of the Permajet Test packet, but the museo is better to me. At my camera shop, North county camera in the san diego area, you have to buy before you see the papers. they have VFA, and all the Permajet, Epson, ilford, lumijet and some others, but none of the ones that clayton jones likes. If most people think that museo is better than VFA, I wont get VFA. Anyone have any experience with these? thanks in advance. I am gonna have some fun this week re-printing my favorite prints!
