Digital BW, The Print

I just got some lumijet preservation classic velour, and some classic 
radiant white rag at north county camera. The very first print, one 
that museo could simply not touch popped out great. And a real nice 
smooth but not like matte surface. Isnt this the same as some other 
paper by one of the big makers? Does anyone know of a cross-reference 
of what papers are really the same as such and such other paper? I have 
been told by some of the big internet sellers, that there are very few 
manufacturers, and everyone just puts a name on it, causing a lot of 
confusion. I have been told by ....... at ....... that this was rubish 
and "we make our own paper and nobody else has this product.....etc". 
It would make things much easier I think if we knew for sure this 
info......
