James, I just wanted to note that the Minolta only scans 35mm at 4800dpi. It scans medium format at 3200dpi. The Nikon and Polaroid scan at 4000dpi for both. The Minolta does look like a great scanner and I look forward to hearing from some users once they are out in the field.
