Digital BW, The Print

I am still on the steep slope of the digital learning curve having 
spent quite a few years in the traditional darkroom.  I would 
greatly appreciate if someone could help me out by answering a 
newbie question: Which rendering intent should I select in PS when 
converting a grayscale file to Adobe RGB prior to printing using 
Paul Roark's workflow?  Also, should I select black point 
compensation?  Many thanks in advance for your help. Peter.
