John,

Yes, it should be possible to make a stronger "Cold selenium" profile 
and a mild "neutral-selenium" profile and then blend the two to get the 
desired level of selenium toning.  Alternatively, you could also 
develop a single custom profile with the precise tone you are looking 
for.  The latter approach might also give better control over the 
distribution of toning from highlights to shadows with a custom toning 
curve.
