Neither WinXP nor MacOSX have anything to do with figuring out what goes to the printer. Everything that happens from the individual grayscale pixels all the way to each individual dot on the page is under the control of QTR. The OS's do nothing more than pass the info along, dealing with spooling and usb hardware. Roy
