Greg,

I have to disappoint you, all my QTR setups are "dry" ones till I
can use 9000/9500 curves to drive the UT VM 9000 that I have.
Today I actually linearised the custom Wasatch SoftRip / 9000 UT
VM combination again so I can continue B&W printing that way.

The friend who got it running today is very satisfied with the
9600 QTR driver. Finer detail than with his 9000 UT VM and Paul's
curves. Qimage preprocessing too. He will compare the 9600
results with the 9000 driven by QTR later on but my guess is that
the 9000 will be sold. Will ask about any banding. His fee is on
its way to Roy.
