some wider opinions on a graphics accelerator based on Paul R's comments ...
save a few bucks. I ordered 120 mm fans on the case and the processor is
running between 98 and 110 degrees. Dual matched memory is a good opition.

For PS, a separate mechanical drive and a ton of RAM are probably more
important than processor speed. The ASUS board I have will support 4GB in
one GB increments. As soon as budget permits, I'll go to 3 GB and then to
the big 4.

I was about to suggest getting _more_ than 1GB of RAM, especially if

working with MF scans at all. I'm scanning at only 24bit with Epson
3200's

these home and edit these on my home machine, the various edits take a

time. Even cropping can take several minutes. I am using 1GB of DDR
