Re: [Digital BW] smaller Mac market

Chris - it is your call as to whether you think you need to change
platforms to get your printer to work but most people don't have any
problems. (the beta release of OS X 10.1 was a real mess I agree but 10.2
and especially 10.3 are sweet.) I have a 2100 and run it without problems
using a CFS with matt black, a CFS with photos black and the Epson OEM inks,
and with QTR and the Epson driver. Swapping from PK to MK was the problem
that most people had in OS-X but that is easily solved. Add the printer to
your printer list with MK in it and rename the printer to denote MK. Then
put the PK ink in it and re-add the printer, changing the name to denote PK.
After that you are done - choose the printer depending on what ink you are
using. Re your sticking issue, try naming and saving the setting set. Then
when you go to print just select the set you want. The utility Print Setup
Repair (available on Versiontracker) is a little gem also for permissions
problems and the like.
