Well then, ask him to write it so that it monitors a folder, does the
conversion and places it in a different folder. Then Qimage can print to the
conversion folder and the conversion program can put it in the folder QTRgui
is watching.

However, I suspect that all this would be a waste of time. Unless the file
is already a gray tone, I doubt that any of the work flow will be faster
after the conversion.
