It is a flatbed scanner Jerry. It will affect my output size as I won't be getting my usual 4000dpi. It has an interesting adaptor for negs though. My SS4000 was my first scanner so I've been a bit spoilt as far as resolution is concerned. I've also never shot 6x6. LF and 6x7/9, but never the magic 6x6.
