Digital BW, The Print

Ever since I installed the Loopback Adaptor I have had very long
startup times for Win2K, on the order of 5 minutes. First, I see a
note that \\fk\quad2200\ is being reinstalled and that holds for about
as long as a normal full startup, then the screen goes to my
background color with the hour glass for a long time (minutes) before
loading my desktop. This is more than a minor hassle as I am now
switching back and forth between my old Win2K and XP.

Is this necessary? Is there a way around it?

We can take this off-list, if it is inappropriate for this one.
