This is very true. We are an Ilford dealer and Ilford has been out of the enlarger head and processor market for a while. They are putting all resources into digital inks and media. According to our tech rep, you will not see any improvements or new research going into silver based products but they plan on continuing making them for now. Kodak has dropped many of their black and white products in the last few years and this seems to have given Ilford slight hope of capturing that dwindling market. We still use many of their products in day to day operations in our lab and have always been very happy with their support. They make some great products.
