Digital BW, The Print

Hi all

I have been printing BO with a 1160 and have been impressed with the 
results compared to using the full inks set - MIS UT inks - Eboni 
black. Now I need to print colour photos, so am considering upgrading 
my printer to either a 1290 or 2100 and using BO printing for my B&W. 
Taking price out of the equation, which printer produces the better 
BO printing 1290 or 2100. Would I see any real world differences in 
print quality compared with my 1160 prints. I could keep my 1160 and 
buy another printer for colour but unfortunately I do not have the 
space. I print the odd A3 hence the choice between 1290 and 2100. I 
would also continue to use Eboni black ink and EAM /PhotoRag paper.
