Correct. It wouldn't autodetect the printer, but I went ahead and
installed the driver anyway. I think I had to manually select the right
printer port after installation. It solved the problem of not being able
to print BO at 2880 with the PK cartridge, but other than that the
output of the two drivers seemed identical.

This was on Windows XP. I'm not sure if it would also work on OS-X.
