Digital BW, The Print

I live in southwestern rural Quebec and am a commercial photographer. About a one and a half hour drive from Montreal. Where do I get my supplies? Vistek in Toronto and B&H in NY. Are they less expensive than local dealers? Monetarily no, but in terms of having a professional staff who can get me what I want yesterday (or today at the very latest), they are the most economical and reliable on the east coast (time IS money . . . at least in the business world). The only thing that comes to my mind about some people feeling a little "jerked around" by B&H is that they ARE in NYC, and this is not an insult to New Yorkers, but those who are used to dealing with mom and pop elsewhere are in for a rude shock when they deal with high speed New Yorkers . . . they tend to be a little "rough around the edges" . . . so what? Want your back stroked while you whine away? order it locally at 30% higher price and take a three week coffee break while you wait for it to arrive.
