One such virus was the Blaster worm which exploited a flaw in the RPC service to infect a machine. Any unpatched windows 2000 or windows XP machine could be infected just by being connected to the internet. In fact I got infected myself, in spite of having updated versions of Norton Antivirus on all my machines and never opening unknown email attachments. If it's true that you've never patched your machine you are still vulnerable to this particular worm, and probably many others. -- Daniel Staver http://daniel.staver.no
