James, Have you found an inkset that will produce B&W prints on Darkroom Gloss that do not exhibit metamerism? I tried the Lyson Quad Blacks (neutral) with Darkroom Gloss in my 1270 and the dmax is exceptional (2.6+), but the prints shift from a perfect neutral in daylight to a garish red tone under incandescent lighting. The new "Daylight Darkroom" inkset supposedly reduces metamerism, but I haven't seen any prints yet. From what I've heard, the Daylight Darkroom inkset consists of the Lyson Quad Blacks (neutral) plus the C, M, and Y inks from the Small Gamut inkset for toning, but I don't know how this inkset is supposed to reduce metamerism.
