Well, I can't help you with comparing inksets, because right now I'm invested in one- Fotonics. I'm slowly trying to come up with an IP-like setup of Colorburst to print black and white with these inks on the Darkroom Gloss. I'm doing it under the guidance of someone who's the brains behind the operation. So far I've had good news and bad news: certain aspects of the prints are very promising, but I did see a dramatic difference in color from room lights at night to indirect daylight. What looked pretty neutral in room lights looked green in daylight. However, that was with an earlier iteration. Subsequent ones have looked about 98% there, with only a faint hint of green in daylight. Then there was a coincident other problem, which I need to now investigate- it could have been a fluke, but since it happened I haven't had the opportunity to check it out more. So the profiling is still not ready for prime time, but, as I say, shows promise. It seems reasonable that a dedicated gray set would be better than the Fotonics for black and white, but I don't have a printer set up for gray only, so this is what I'm working with now. James
