Flattened, yes. No extraneous channels, yes. Only one channel - that beng the gray, no. At least not in the PC version. I send monotone images in RGB format to QTR(Gui), and it works. In fact, if you print from Qimage, this is guaranteed. I.e., even if you print a grayscale image in Qimage, it sends an monotone image in RGB format to QTR(Gui), and it prints just fine.
