I don't use a brush but a clean and old piece of cloth (like a small towel) to wipe the surface off. After that, I blow cold air over it with a strong hair dryer. Works for me, I never have flaking problems (except in my hair). You must use an OLD piece of cloth that has been washed a lot of times so that all loose fibers has been washed out (no use in replacing paper flakes by textile fibers, is there?). Greetings. I g o r
