Re: [Digital BW] Epson 7000 and Carbon Pigment inksets??

2004-10-03 by Wendel White

John;

I am using the 7000 with MIS inks and while there are occasional clogs etc.,
I generally find that I am able to print consistently and it has worked well
for several years. I started with MIS-FS, then added Eboni, then UT-FS. It
takes time and there has always been a bit of alchemy (humidity, time
between printing sessions, etc.) I use ImagePrint as my RIP and using this
setup I have made hundreds successful prints (mostly 22"x44" some 20"x24")
but there has also been a lot of waste... We are using the printer in a way
that was not intended, so from my point of view a week is not much time to
perfect this sort of modification.
