I own a 2200, and although i think it prints beautifully in color, with black and white you really need to test and test and although you can get a very nice print in the warm and cool ranges, i have found, and would love suggestions, that getting a rich, tonal neutral print is almost impossible. The papers you are using make a huge difference, as do many other factors. I would consider what it is you want to print most and look for what printer has the most in that capacity. Newest is always one way to go, but not always best for your specific needs. good luck!
