You asked whether I was planning on curves for Photorag.

I really don't have a road map, nor am I familiar with Photorag.  Are there
equivalents by various sellers?  (I have several Hahnemuhle papers.)

If there is a popular paper and someone sends me a couple of sheets, I'll
see what I can do.

I was originally thinking of profiles as in the Transfer Function.  I'm now
thinking that the TF, in addition to it being a crude tool, might run into
the problem of printer driver differences.  So, a Photoshop curve to be
applied before the RGB mode change and VM control curve (or an overlay on
the RGB part of the main curve) might be a superior method.  This should be
independent of printer and platform.

Any ideas or thoughts on this are most welcome.  I sense that the main draw
of Piezo that the MIS VM system lacks is profiles.  I am still hoping that
the user base gets to the point where these are made and made available by
others.
