I drop an 8bit GS .tif 240dpi image on the print area of the GUI and it shows "Quadtone RIP is printing" but after about 30 seconds the message disappears and nothing happens. Looking at the QTRlog, it shows the last line ERROR: Unable to write raster data to driver! I've read and reread all the stuff on both websites and the files that came with both downloads and cannot find any variance from the instructions... Guess I should wait till I'm back with the first printer or try the loopback adapter again (though I don't see why since the GUI definitely distinguishes between printers that are shared and those that are not). If you have any ideas, it would be great. cheers, tom
